Musical Evenings at St Donatus continues to collaborate with the international competition “Concorso Internazionale Città di Palmanova” and for the third year in a row brings the performance of the winner of this Italian music competition. The concert is being held on the occasion of the anniversary of the inscription of the Zadar fortification system on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Duo Impuro was formed in 2023 at the prestigious Benedetto Marcello Conservatory of Venice, and consists of two young Italian musicians - saxophonist Samuele Molinari and pianist Celeste Sartori. Both laureates of numerous awards, in May 2025 they won the first absolute prize in the chamber music category at the International Music Competition “Città di Palmanova”. They are particularly dedicated to contemporary music, and maintain close collaboration with composers Francesco Pavan, Giovanni Mancuso, Michele Deiano and Eriko Casanova, who dedicated several original works to them.
